Rosemary Leach has been painting and teaching in the Ottawa area for the past decade. Her canvases focus on functional objects and everyday scenes with a contemplative mood. Using dynamic brushwork unveiling the fresh character of each object as she sees them… Rosemary believes we all carry with us a wealth of creative potential. Her teaching style is about unveiling that unique voice, inspiring students to reach for their full creative possibilities.

Rosemary enjoys daily lunch with her writer-spouse Jacob Berkowitz. When not painting, she bakes biscotti and occasionally picks up kids’ socks in the front hall of her home in Almonte, Ontario, near Ottawa.
